London Rebel

Now I have been teasing you a bit on my Instagram account, because for the last few days we have been working on two really cool collaborations, one of which I can’t reveal to you just yet and the other which took us on a little mini-vacation in the heart of the most famous financial district in the world. We are also planning a very exotic getaway after my final exams in February and soon I will be needing your help because it is to a place that I have never been before!

Now, although I can’t share my trip with you just yet, I can tell you that we have been invited to the UK’s Definitive Fashion Trade Show in February by an amazing London based shoe brand called London Rebel!!! :)) The name, London Rebel, just sums up the attitude and essence of the shoe designs. Unapologetic, bold, studded, colorful and Ab Fab Darling! I have been out and about so much recently and here I am in East London, on the way to some of our friends house after some important meetings, wearing London Rebel’s amazing gold studded “Rita” booties, that are just perfect for rocking up a skirt Kate Moss style! I wore them with my BAD Hawaiian flower snap back, green reflector glasses and moss colored straight cut coat. I liked that the subtle gold detail on the black skirt worked well with the boots and black roll neck top and tights were jazzed up by the fluorescent detail of the cap.

Meanwhile back in the real world, my parents are over from France and are staying with me until their purchase of their new London apartment goes through. So that means that our two bedroom apartment now sleeps 5. To make things worse my boyfriend somehow keeps finding furniture in the street or in the rubbish or things that his friends want to get rid of and he offers it to my parents and they so far haven’t refused anything.ย  SOS Hoarder Alert! Our hall is now packed with old wardrobes, tables, stood, chairs…all ready for moving day and soon I fear I will be barricaded into my room. My Mum meanwhile has now turned into the food police, filling the kitchen with 5-2 diet plans and newspaper cuttings or fat people turned thin (namely the Chancellor of the Exchequer), since we announced half halfheartedly that we were going on New Year’s resolution diets. She has hidden all the biscuits, my Dad keeps threatening to bite his own arm off and soon I fear that if we get more furniture in front of my door, I will have to be fed by basket and pulley from the roof… Which come to think of it, could have been my Mum’s plan all along, I’m not so sure…

So, I guess if I am being whipped at home, I might as well be a BAD ASS London Rebel Teenage Dirt Bag in public ๐Ÿ˜‰

I am an ex-professional tennis player and have just graduated from King's College in London. I share daily fashion outfits and stories of my travels and the tour. Every story has a beginning, but I will start mine here, at the start of something big. For us this was a journey of a lifetime, where dreams were made and broken, where friendships were cherished and torn apart. We lived and still live the life of aspiration and we tell the tale of victories and defeats that come with growing up at such a young age on the brink of greatness and fame. In our world youth, beauty and riches combine. We trained hard but played even harder. Our partiesโ€™ were and always will be legendary, our travels exotic and carefree. We were becoming stars. My Girls On Tour showcases street style looks, avant-garde fashion, new designers, fashion shows as well as travel stories and adventures. A fun window into the glamorous world of a professional tennis player turned fashionista, this is the place for wonderlust and fashion inspiration. Instragram @abigirlx Twitter @Abigailroyston

    1. Thank you sweetie! I am so glad you like the look ๐Ÿ™‚ I really liked the coat because it was quite formal, so good for wearing around the city, but also if worn with skinny jeans could look quite alternative because of the cut and the mossy green color which seemed quite unusual. I’d seen lots of black, pink and baby blue coats this season, so I thought it was quite original. I am so glad you like it too and thank you for your lovely comment about it :))) Abi xxx

  1. Hoarding is not a victimless crime!!

What you give away will one day be part of your inheritance if they do not unload it on someone else down the road. I am sitting with part of my inheritance as we speak…one semi-coherent cat! So you better pass that along to your boyfriend.

Have a great weekend and enjoy the healthy food!

    1. Hahaha LOL! I totally agree! Hoarding is not a victimless crime LOL! Awww I love cats! I had two but they got really old and died last year… The oldest one was 20 and had gone a bit senile too, so respect for semi-coherent cats ๐Ÿ˜‰ Abi xxx

    1. Really! I didn’t know that! I don’t know a lot about Basketball to be honest, I am more into tennis and I think soccer as you guys say it over there :)) Either way I am very pleased to potentially qualify as an honorary Detroiter ๐Ÿ˜€ xxx
