One of the cool things about living in East London is that its a great place to find unique style, to be creative and imaginative with your own outfits. No one cares or judges and really the more different you are then the better. So here are some pictures that we took before Christmas in Brick Lane one of the coolest streets in London. I didn’t have time to post them earlier as I have been working on a lot of different projects, one of which meant I had to go away last weekend on a pretty fun mini-trip, so I can’t wait to share that with you very soon! I am wearing By_One of A Kind‘s really cool one of a kind handmade Anamaue Vest. By_One Of A Kind are based in New York and I learn of them through Instagram but their vests are just such a perfect accessory for London and for achieving an alternative, original look. I decided to plat the front tassels to make them look as if I was rocking some dreads and like a true fashion buccaneer I layered up the necklaces, rings and the tie-dye bandana. I got a few looks and some hipster asked me if I wasn’t cold with my cut out jeans… I think he was just jelly though because his skinny jeans looked a bit too tight for comfort X)
Are there any places near where you live that you feel comfortable to try out new looks or styles at? What is your most original but cheerished item of clothing in your wardrobe? Let me know

Oh cool! So glad you like it too! I used to live in West London but for the last two years I have lived over East and I’m having a lot of gun here! Thanks for the compliment on the jeans too, I bought some cheap jeans from Primark and then just ripped them myself 🙂 Abi xxx

When I get some regular income, I’d like to explore the Steampunk look (still love the Goth look, though!)

I would not expect much logic to be coming from a guy who has exceeded the MASF (Maximum Allowable Snugness Factor) in his pants size.

Massive LOL!!!!! Hahaha hadn’t heard of that one before (will take mental note of MASF and will make sure to use as if it was my own) ;)) Abi xxx

This look is so fun! I grew up in the South of the US… not the greatest place to try to be different, so I love when I go to other places and really get to see everyone be so creative and unique.

Thank you so much, I’m so glad you like this look 🙂 I agree, its really nice going to other places and seeing creativity. I sometimes find it hard to try new things even in a place where it seems like people are pretty open, that’s why I like Fashion Blogging because it sort of gives me a reason to step outside of my comfort zone and to try to throw caution to the wind 😉 Thanks so much for your encouragement Abi xxx
