Blondes Also Prefer Gentlemen

So today I am really proud to announce that My Girls On Tour has reached over 1,000 daily subscribers and I so would like to thank you all for your support and also for joining me on my adventures! πŸ™‚ I really appreciate all your thoughtful, poetic and insightful comments and your interaction and kind messages really make me smile. Truly thank you ❀

Having recently watched Legally Blonde, my parents somehow identified me with the ditsy yet determined law studentΒ  who writes notes with a pink fluffy pen and wears a bright magenta suit to court. Her blonde hair means that she is underestimated in the brain department but like Marilyn Monroe who was often associated with her very slow characters, with her billowing skirts and sultry singing, she actually had an incredibly high IQ in real life. Now before we go blue in the face debating cliches and stereotypes and whether they have any truth to them, and whether they are in fact relevant in this day of age considering most of use hair dye, I would like to bring everyone’s attention to the one fact that everyone has missed – that it may not be Gentlemen who Prefer Blondes, but in fact Blondes (and all other women for that matter!) who Prefer Gentlemen… So ladies, next time you question whether you should change your hair color, because being blonde makes you look needy, brunette arrogant and red head fiery, just think that none of it matters, because really, it should be for the men to impress the ladies and not the other way around πŸ˜›

For today’s look I decided on a backless ocean blue dress which I combined with dark accessorize. I really love the color of this garment and it is perfect to wear both around town, to the beach and also on a night out. Hope you like it!

I am an ex-professional tennis player and have just graduated from King's College in London. I share daily fashion outfits and stories of my travels and the tour. Every story has a beginning, but I will start mine here, at the start of something big. For us this was a journey of a lifetime, where dreams were made and broken, where friendships were cherished and torn apart. We lived and still live the life of aspiration and we tell the tale of victories and defeats that come with growing up at such a young age on the brink of greatness and fame. In our world youth, beauty and riches combine. We trained hard but played even harder. Our parties’ were and always will be legendary, our travels exotic and carefree. We were becoming stars. My Girls On Tour showcases street style looks, avant-garde fashion, new designers, fashion shows as well as travel stories and adventures. A fun window into the glamorous world of a professional tennis player turned fashionista, this is the place for wonderlust and fashion inspiration. Instragram @abigirlx Twitter @Abigailroyston

  1. Apparently, your parents think you are as sharp as Elle Woods in her cross examination and that you will go far. I really think blue is a better color for you than magenta, and these pics are conclusive evidence that support my opinion. BTW, when do we see the photos of Bruiser?
