Thank you for taking the time to comment on the picture Marc! Yes I absolutely fell in love with Cuba. Have you posted about your travels there too? Going to the Vinales was such a great day trip to do from Havana. There was so much to see and the landscape was breathtaking, like nothing else I had ever seen. I hope you are enjoying the blog and again thank you for your comment 🙂 All the best, Abi xxx
Thanks Abi. Yes, I just reached Cuba on my travel25years blog, including links to a couple of articles I wrote and more photos on Google+ https://travel25years.wordpress.com/. Enjoy, and have a great weekend…
!!! Yes indeed! There were caves, and we went into one and down an underground river on a boat. The exit of the cave was covered in green vines so it looked just like an Indiana Jones Movie! xxx
I knew it- 🙂 Same landscape as limestone caves are found in throughout the world. Looks very similar to the area’s I visited in Guatemala and Mexico for cave exploration. Hope you enjoyed your underground excursion.
Thank you Damien 🙂 This was taken at the Valley de Vinales in Cuba. It really was a spectacular place, still very traditional and unspoilt. It was a great place to learn about tabacco, cigars, rhum (all the excesses of life) whilst seeing some really interesting scenery, caves and rock formations. Thanks for following mygirlsontour and also for your lovely comments, I really appreciate it and hope that you will like my upcoming stories from my adventures in Spain and Portgual. All the best, Abi xxx
